Carissa Moore of Honolulu, Hawaii, is the top-ranked female surfer in the world and a four-time world champion. She won a world title at 18, becoming the youngest person to achieve that feat. Moore is one of four Americans competing for the USA Surfing Team in the sport’s Olympic debut in Tokyo. Moore learned to surf from her father when she was 5 years old.
