Free and Fair Elections: Why Elections Matter

Free and Fair Elections: Why Elections Matter

Free and fair elections help ensure the peaceful and orderly transfer of power from citizens to an elected representative. They likewise provide the same for the transfer of power from an elected official to their successor.

Elections express the voice of the people. So it’s vital that elections are free and fair.

Communities and countries grow from strong when citizens can safely vote. Whether voters approve or reject local laws or politicians seeking public office, the people’s voice counts.  Rigged elections only serve corrupt governments.
