Hiring qualified candidates who happen to have a disability has proved good for business. Many U.S. businesses, local governments and other entities initially expressed concerns about the law. Their fears were proved unjustified. Implementing the law has spurred innovation, improved employee performance, opened new business markets and provided all Americans the benefits of an inclusive society.
